Six years ago, news of a new Xecutuer BIOS would have had me counting down the hours till school let out, at which point I’d go home and flash my X2 Pro with Team Xecuter’s latest handiwork. (That particular Xbox has since been moved around so much in various moves that the X2 Pro has been disconnected, thus ending the fun.) But now, the iXtreme hacked firmware for the Xbox 360? I couldn’t even tell you where to get it (still #xbins?), nor what to do with it. But! I can read a carefully put together list, and hence know what’s new with the latest firmware, version 1.6. Big news: greater precautions taken to prevent your banning from Xbox Live.
What you no-good kids can expect:
• To avoid any risk of banishments, the games sector will not be modified launched with iXtreme 1.6
• The security to be disabled temporarily. Called “One-Shot-Boot-Mode”, it will allow you to temporarily disable the launching of non-stealth games. This option should be reactivated every time I start new game
• Activation of the “One-Shot-Boot-Mode” will be provided via a activate.iso in the iXtreme package
• The original games can be dumped directly Dumping 0800 without having a drive with Kreon firwmare
And other stuff. It sure seemed a lot easier in my day with the X2. You flash your chip, FTP into your Xbox, then transfer over the ISO using extract-iso. (If I recall correctly, I typed “./extract-xiso -f 192.168.1.30 -d /E/Games/ [game.iso].” Something like that.)
The dumb things you do when you have an incredible amount of free time on your hands and a shiny, new (at the time) broadband connection.

my friend is hacking can i do anything else than just file complaints. he is using a lag button and he told me he learned it off youtube. even ask KSIkeptrugamer on xbox live. he brags about his lag button. pleasemonitor him on live or do somthing

It’s really pretty simple to hack the new consoles, I actually think more so than the original Xbox (which I have modded with a mod chip). The new 360 hack is just hacking the firmware on the DVD drive, and that is it.
You should read more on it, it’s pretty sweet.
whoever wrote this article is a douche. 360 hacking took me seriously about 5 mins to do and I didn’t have to go out and buy memory cards or mod chips or spend any money at all. I just opened my 360 plugged the cd drive into my computer and pressed “flash”. That was it. Easiest mod there ever was.

Yeah except nothing you just said is true.
You do not need the original FW to upgrade your flash. You can simply copy the cracked firmware off the drive and get the key from that.
Before you make a jackass of yourself on the internet, it pays to actually know what you’re talking about.
This is truth. Jungle flasher just takes the key from the old version of ixtreme you have on your drive and inserts it into your stock (keyless) ixtreme bin file before upgrading your drive with it.

You are obviously lying. I have actually modded my own xbox and it isn’t that simple. Since you think it is, you must be lying.
For example, if you really knew how to mod you would know that few computers come with the proper SATA chipset needed to mod; thus, you have to buy one. Also, if you happen to have a liteon drive, It is impossible to dump the firmware from these liteon DVD drives. Thus, getting the proper key, dummy.bin and other files requires more work and tools (such as the USB Extrator). Then there’s others little issues like needing to run PortIO32, have the proper drivers for your SATA card, and being able to spoof your drive.
Simply put, if you think you can just plug your DVD drive into your computer and BAM! it’s modded… your crazy! If it were that simple, everyone would do it…. which they don’t because its hard!

Hi can sum 1 help, got my xbox modded 2 years ago something 2 do with soldering so i asume its a chip ,anyway new backups wont play or even new origonals am i completley fucked or can i update firmware by getting it flashed
hey odds are you had a lite on drive and the firmware is outdated as for new originals not playing that means you got some shitty version or a hacked firmware that isnt ixtreme just try to move past it by hooking your xbox up to your pc, use a via sata card and jungle flasher to try to read your firmware.

no but if you unlock any achivments while on the banned console then try to play on a new console it will say account coruppted you have to delete your account and recover it on a new 360 but if you put it back on the banned console you will have to repeat the whole process again
This mod is a TOTAL FAIL. 1 mln consoles have been banned. It’s a pretty much useless mod.

Ive been banned from XBOX Live and the way I see it is if you have 5 non original games you have saved enough cash to just buy a new XBOX & have it flashed. Stop moaning & get a new XBOX if it bothers you that much. I did!
@ BannedFu*kers, I have over 100 games burned and I couldnt care less for “XBOX Live”. Single player for the win bitch. There are very few games worth playing online and if you care so much for them have a non modded console to do so.
