I'm sure Windows 7 will be much better than vista, I heard Microsoft brought on some Linux programmers to help clean up some of the code in Windows 7. That was their biggest mistake with vista was that they rushed it out and didn't take the time to bring in outside support as far as figuring out how to get things done with fewer lines of code, which linux has done a good job at, their priority is to have their operating system run as efficiently as possible by trimming the code down to the minimum considering what they want the operating system to do.

Honestly, I don't know. And the blog post from the Windows 7 team didn't say. So your guess is as good as mine.
