really what sony should do is put the L R bottons on the regular psp but have sort of a curl access part on the back n put the L2 and R2 buttons there. Basically make the regular psp just like the ps2 joy stick but with a screan. easy right!!!!!!!!

I agree. if ur gonna go this far to modify the psp why not just make a new system? different better games. the psp is fine how it is. how many times dose it need to be changed?! make a new system thers the ps3.why not make a completly differnt psp and start from scratch?

ok… so no UMD, not a big deal as long as it still has a USB connection or removeable memory stick. Then just hack the hell out of it and not bother with UMD entirely. Besides the touch screen would make some awesome apps

This is meant to be sold along side the PSP3000 not a replacement.
the 3000 is for hardcore portable gamers and younger PSP owners the Go! is a gorgeous portable media device for sony stores new ebook an film renting service and remote play for thier fantastic ps3/Play TV etc. while it will play downloaded psp games clearly this will be easier on the PSP3000.

with this gen of consoles there is more than one kind of PSP user an the Go! is aimed at the older tech loving users for whom the portable playing of games is an after thought.

Sony scrapped the umd’s because some people or most people ripped umd’s and put them up for download online causing a huge problem with the umd manufacturers. Thats why they scrapped umd’s.
