I've just been caught out with a sony PMP which will only run on an Japanese OS and the dl for other languages is not compatible with the unit :( The UI and physical design on this one drives me mad but if you want good sound it's either sony, creative or cowon and I don't need anything but a DAP really. There is nothing new about this player compared to the one I have that looks EXACTLY like it. All you did was take your old players, slap on "MX" and strip it down to the bare essentials... Gee wiz! Cool! /s The price isn't too bad though. I paid like $59.99 for my 2GB model about six months ago. Quadruple the capacity and only about 50% increase in price. Not bad, really. Lets hope they're doing this to get rid of their current stockpile of these players, because that should mean that they're paving way for a new device launch. What is this, Creative?
