The iTie has this unique feature that will keep the ENTIRE tie in place. Tomas Pink did not, maybe thats why they no longer make it...not to mention, The iTie pocket is a patented addition and finished product. I purchased 3 itie's and love the idea! The tie has a two great functions: 1 It stays in place and doesn't get in your food, and 2 it has a concealed pocket which can hold your business cards! I saw the itie featured on a Billy Mays video. My wife purchased one for me because I told her it was nice idea. I have to say the Itie is very innovative, and the quality of the tie is as good as the very high end ties in my collection. More importantly, it stays in place all day and doesnt get in my way. (and I mean that in a good way). However, the toothpaste-saving straps have some competition... They are called tie-clips. Serve the same purpose, you don't pay a premium of $15 or so per tie for them, and they work with just about any tie (I can't verify their utility with bow ties, for example). What great nerd-attire!
