Ladies and gentlemen! Microsoft has officially released Windows 7 RC1—no more need for shady torrents, then. You have to be a member of MSDN or TechNet to download it today; the public at large will have to wait till May 5.
We’ll have to wait till one of the Windows guys (Devin, Doug and Dave… hmm, all their names begin with the letter D…) install to get their impression of the release. In the meantime, here’s a video showing Michael Jordan’s top 10 dunks. The music’s a little loud, so tread lightly.
My boss, the exceptional guy he is, never thought we IT guys needed access to TechNet or MSDN. Then he sent us a slew of emails today telling us that Win7 RC was ready on them, as was Vista SP2 etc… and that we should download them, I had to inform he we did not have access and he told us to stop complaining. What a piece of work.
Now he is in a hell fire hurry to get us access to technet. Seems we had 2 full access accounts but he never bothered to set them up.
I just received my very own MSDN account. I am going to have to send a thank you card to my boss. Technet would have been fine but he went all out with the MSDN…
I think I want to hug him…
