There are quite a few mini PC mouses coming out of Japan, but now Tokyo-based TEC is saying their Lingo, a wireless device, is the smallest of them all [JP]. The Lingo weighs only 23g and is sized at 27.5 × 60 × 19mm so the claim doesn’t sound too outrageous.

The 800dpi/2.4Ghz Lingo works within a range of usage of about 10m (battery life: about 15 hours). It goes on sale in Japan next month in black and white and costs $50.

People living outside Japan should try and ask the Japan Trend Shop, Gizmine or Geek Stuff 4 U to get one for them.

  • cool mouse, but this didn’t really answer the headline question… so can anyone who’s used this let me know if it is too small to be useful? I’d like to get this for traveling, but only if it’s definitely better than a trackpad.

  • Mice can be absolutely too small. Some of those tiny ones, are very annoying to use. You knock one of those wireless ones under a desk, it is a real pain because they can fit in the smallest crevices.
