That's 48 hours of operation for playing audio, not operation with a backlit screen. Respectable, but nothing particularly amazing.

For operation with the screen, about the best-case scenario would be 1 watt for the screen and 1 watt for the CPU and memory for a total of 2W, and the actual figure might be closer to twice that. But, just just for fun...at, say, 3V, that 4,500mAh battery would give 13.5 WH, which, divided by 2W, gives under 7 hours of operation. I'm guessing the actual is closer to 5 under any kind of use. But, yeah, 48 hours would be nice. It's just hard to get that with a backlit screen.

Hmm...just checked: it's a Sansumg ARM S3C6410 Processor 667MHz and the device has support for WiFi 802.11b/g, Bluetooth. I'm guessing it'd be lucky to get 4 hours with much radio usage. Nevertheless, slowly, we're getting closer and closer to the so-called "all-day" device. We're 1/6th of the way there or so, anyway.
