The SuperSmoker is an atomizer that sends the taste and nicotine of a four cigarettes into your gullet without flame, smoke, or even any of the nasty chemicals usually found in cigs. As a non-smoker, this thing was a bust but if you’re a jonesing flier, this thing is amazing.
Each filter tip contains about four cigarettes worth of puffs and each box contains 24 tips.
To use it you charge it up from a wall socket, attach a little filter-shaped atomizer packet, and suck. The tip lights up and you get your taste of sweet release. In all honesty I wasn’t much impressed – “All the nasty taste of a cigarette without the cancer!” – but, again, this isn’t for me.
There are four types of filter – the Zero, the Normal, the Light, and Menthol. The Normal contains 2,4 milligrams of nicotine while the Zero contains none. There is also a cigar model.
* The SuperSmoker has never been proven to be a smoking cessation device, it is simply a safer alternative to smoking traditional cigarettes. The SuperSmoker contains no tar or tobacco, it doesn’t burn and can be used anywhere as it doesn’t contain any first or second hand smoke. Plus you can also save on your smoking costs!
* One cartridge contains the following milligrammes of nicotine:Zero
: 0,0 milligrammes nicotineLight
: 1,8 milligrammes nicotine
Normal
: 2,4 milligrammes nicotine
Menthol
: 2,4 milligrammes nicotine
Each cartridges last for roughly 30 inhalations, which is the equivalent of four cigarettes. Each pack contains 24 cartridges.
SuperSmoker will save you up to 50% of your current ’smoking’ costs.* The SuperSmoker is very easy to use. The SuperSmoker has a rechargeable battery which is disguised as the tip of the cigarette. The base is made up of an easy change nicotine cartridge and an evaporation chamber. Once connected, the SuperSmoker will work automatically when the user inhales – there is no on/off button.
I totally don’t want this thing so if you think you need it I can send it to you. I only sucked the filter tip but I can throw in the used one if you swing that way. Just leave a comment and I’ll pick one smoker at random.

i would love it!
Seriously I swear this same review has been reposted like 3 times in the past few months.
I have a radical idea. How about a smoker tries it, and does a review.
Clever, eh?
My work friend has been trying to put together extra money to buy one of these. He smokes a little over a pack per day and constantly fails at quitting, but really wants to.
it already exists, and has for years, it just didn’t look so much like a cigarette. check gwyneth paltrow in “the royal tenenbaums.”

I would love to take it off your hands. I’m trying desperately to quit smoking and this may be the answer…
E-cigarettes as they’re known have already been barred in Canada.
Their health impact has yet to be evaluated.
Sure … I’ll take it. I’ve actually been curious about these things.
I never heard of that before
I’m willing to give it a shot. I really can’t afford to smoke, but can’t afford to buy one of these either. I’ve cut back a lot, just can’t seem to actually stop.
I’d really like to give it a shot to see if it can help me get past that last smoke.
memememememememememe
Nicotine=my bloood and i’m on empty….don’t let me die :(
I’m no doctor but I don’t think that device will help you quit, it’s just exchanging one delivery system for another, however, if it helps someone to quit….more power to you.
It seems to me that in theory, if you like this device, you wouldn’t even need to quit. Nicotine itself isn’t terribly harmful (supposedly). The damage is done by all the other stuff you’re burning to get to it.
Ooo, I’ll takes it! :) been meaning to get one of these to save some cash
Please give it to me, so I can give it to a programmer in my company, to reduce his cigarette breaks :-)
Interesting. I’d be willing to give it a shot. . .or a smoke.
@Pistilwhipped most quit smoking tools exchange one delivery system for another (gum, patch etc.). The problem is that this is too close to actually smoking a cigarette, so it probably won’t let you break the habit, which is half the battle.
The thing is, smoking is more than one addiction. Its the nicotine addiction and the mental addiction. E-cigs have the option of getting lower and lower nicotine cartridges until you can eventually get down to zero. There are cartridges that have no nicotine, just flavor. So instead of trying to break two addictions at once. You can slowly lower your nicotine levels down to zero while still keeping your mental addiction. Then when the nicotine addiction is gone, you can break the mental addiction.
i have tryed one of th ese before let me tell you it feels way better i would really enjoy having one of my own
I’ll take it! Sounds SuperCool! See what I did there?
i want to quit smoking–help ME!!!
Do I have to go to Amsterdam to get the ’special” tips?
I’m not a smoker, but I really hope this catches on. I can’t stand the smell of smoke…
I propose the following experiment: I will use the device and I will report back on a monthly basis on how much this apparatus is helping me in my never-ending quest to quit smoking. Sounds good? send it my way!
Cheers
I dont want to stop smoking, Just want one cause it looks like a cool little gadget :)
I’ll be your random smoker! Been almost quit since January but having problems with the last cig of the day…this would be perfect!
And my girlfriend thinks you’re cute
Thanks, dad!
Anytime, son.
Now go help your mother with the dishes.
Oh, and give that nice Stack boy the electronic smoker.
It is obvious you really had no idea what you were doing putting the E-cig together, so I find it kind of laughable that you, as a nonsmoker were reviewing it.
I’m an active E-cigarette user (see: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com) and the possibilities with e-cigs are boundless. There are some who make the switch completely from actual cigarettes to the E-variety, and some who use them for the times they cannot smoke (see: work, on planes, in restaurants).
The initial investment is generally anywhere from $50 up. Cartridges or carts (the part with the nicotine and flavoring) usually come in packs of 5 and, in my experience, last for the equivalent of about 2.5 packs of cigarettes. The packs of carts cost about $5 each so you can figure that it will only cost about $10 for the equivalent of 5 packs of cigarettes. That’s a darn good price in my book.
E-cigs are not for everyone. And if you’re a smoker and looking for what is claimed to be a healthier alternative, maybe you should give E-cigs a try. I definitely suggest doing some research on what to get though before you actually get it, that’s why I suggest the e-cig forum linked at the beginning of my post. It is an entire community of people talking about e-cigs. Hope this helps you guys.
That’s pretty cool, now I can smoke while I’m working. Give me please!
I’ve been trying to help my dad quit, nothing’s really worked, and he no longer seems too interested. This seems like it could at least damped the effects of his habit, I’d love to take it off your hands!
I’d love to have it! I was just thinking, life is too short to quit the pleasures of smoking – so this sounds like THE thing.
Enlighten the rest of us on the pleasures of smoking. Because the rest of us can’t stand it when you blow it in our faces.
If people are blowing smoke directly in your face its probably because they don’t like you.
Hard to believe, pleasant guy that he is.
My wife and I bought one of these for her mom, she used it for a while and then went back to smoking normally. It seemed to work, but she gave in again. Blah, Fail.
All comes down to the person’s self-control I guess.
Tried it. Tastes hollow, not satisfying at all.
I’d love that e-cigarette, not because i smoke (i don’t, because of health issues), but because i would like to smoke in an presumably safe way (even if this is disputed). I just love the “process” of smoking. :)
dood> PICK ME.
i offer you one MILLION internets.
w00t.
I would love to have this. No need for the used tip tho ;)
Give it to me! I’ve been dying to try one of these things!
I’d love to try the thing out… hell, I’ll even trade you a review from an active nicotine consumer for the thing!
why review if you aren’t a smoker. That’s like a car review from someone who doesn’t drive.
I think that would make a most objective and interesting car review. Don’t you feel like you know what to expect most reviewers to say once you know what product they’re trying?
“This guy’s reviewing an Apple prod! – of course he loves it – he loves me all – no objectiveness here at all” kind of thing.
Please pick me at random
I would take it for my step father maybe it well help him stop.
electronic drugs? yes, i believe i’ll enter that competition.
This doesn’t address the root problem of why people continue to smoke in the first place. If anyone is trying to quit I cannot recommend enough to read The Easy Way to Stop Smoking by Allen Carr. For some baffling reason many people still have not heard of it, even though it is probably the best written and most logical way to kick the habit for good. It isn’t about motivation or willpower, quite the opposite, it’s about eliminating the desire to smoke. Some of my dearest friends who were longtime smokers quit because of this book and never looked back.
Here is the link on Amazon (and no I am not affiliated in any way with this, simply recommending something that can save your life):

I’ll take it off your hands. Can you autograph it for me too?
I’ve been trying the Nicorette non-electronic nicotine delivery system. Works sort of but looks like you are sucking on a tampon applicator.
I would put this to good use! I’ve been smoking 7 years and I need to quick ASAP!
Will you save my life John Biggs?
I’d like to give this a try!
I think it would be cool to get one…you can keep the used filter part as a keepsake though.
I’ll make a youtube video of me smoking all 24 tips at once (or as many as it takes to pass out) and then operating firearms and outdoor power equipment if you send it to me.
Comedy gold I say.
Got a long international flight coming up. Would like to test this In flight and see fellow passenger reactions.
Hey John,
I am a 24 y/o smoker from the Sacramento Area.. I have quit smoking twice for 12+ months but each time was sucked back in while more and more people smoked around me.. I have been thinking about one of these things for a while, because for one I love all things gadget, and I need to try something new to help me in the social situations where I always fail. The problem is I simply can’t afford it right now because.. well it’s just one of those years..
So anyways – I would love for you to send it my way, and I will even write you a review to post as an edit from a real smoker who spends about 1/10 of every day guilting himself for smelling like poo – which let’s be real here folks, all smokers do.
So yeah – drop me a line – do me a favor – I’ll even click some ads ;-)
Thanks for the objective review as always; Oh! and congratulations on failing at becoming an eSmoker lol…
As someone who has one of these, it sucks.
If you think it will help you quit smoking you are wrong. Better off with the patch if your serious.
How about just for some “help” on the social side of things? I can handle a cold turkey quit almost no problem, it’s the weekends outback and drinkin that make it a real toughy….
This is one cool device. I wish I could get my mother one…this might keep her from smoking around her grandkids.

Oops…forgot to say great post! Looking forward to your next one.
I prefer weed and vaporizers.
Your Dutch sounds like my Swedish.
