Why Apple wouldn’t license its MacBook connectors patent is beyond me as they do license their iPod/iPhone connectors.

Perhaps Apple plans to launch power accessories for the MacBooks in the near future?

Capitalism at its best or just plain hogging?

As far as I know, apple has patents for its macbook tip. That explains why no univerisal adapters in the market can provide the tip for macbook.

As the author noted, apparently Innergie exists in a parallel universe where Bill Gates slew Steve Jobs in an epic battle in their orbiting satellites thus creating a reality where MacBooks never existed.

That or “Universal” is being used a tad too generously by their Marketing Department again.

Where was this thing 2 weeks ago when I was waiting for a new Dell adapter in the mail. I coughed up $120 at best buy for a shoddy one that is a lump of poo.
