Good news, Final Fantasy fans. Square just announced the U.S. release date for Final Fantasy: Advent Children Complete on Blu-ray. Mark your calendars for June 2 and set aside $38.96. (So Blu-ray.com was just off.)

Unlike the Japanese release, the American release won’t have a playable Final Fantasy XIII demo; nope, all we have to look forward to is a new trailer. Right, isn’t that what Game Trailers is for?

In other Final Fantasy news, be sure to check out this Edge feature on FFXIII. I enjoyed it.

  • ok I am sure im not the only one who has seen this but I pre-ordered from Amazon for $22 and some change. Good deal if this is a must have for you.

  • I better be in this movie

  • i too preordered this from Amazon. Anyone who pays 40 bucks for this is a sucker. Thank God for Amazon. Im still pissed though that the US wont get the demo because of MS. Once again, istead of fighting a fair fight they try to win by restricting the comopition of content.

  • Not fair, it’s only on Blu-ray, i don’t have a Blu-ray DVD player!!! But oh well i’ll still get it and i can’t wait!!! <3

  • Awesome! It doesn’t matter to me… if it’s a ‘Final Fantasy VII’ title and its a “Complete” Version of “Final Fantasy Advent Children” (which was awesome) I’d pay 50 for it!

  • This is crap!! I just got the damn disc and there is no demo disc!!
