If you’re anything like my sister you’ve already broken your iPhone’s screen. Thankfully, iFixit has a detailed how-to that shows you hope to remove and replace the iPhone’s front glass without much fuss and muss. All you need is a suction cup and a small screwdriver.
A new glass screen costs about $70 while the LCD costs $99. All of it is easy enough to fix with a little gumption.

I went to the Apple store in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and they told me my warranty was void and it was cost $199.99 to fix my phone I paid over $500 for!!!! You can also buy the same kit off of ebay with the double sided tape and tool kit for 32.00. I just did mine and it came out great however I recommend getting a razor blade when taking off the glass.

I recently had a similar situation where I dropped my phone and picked it up only to find that the screen had been cracked! Really frustrating! I was told by apple this repair would be $199.
