Ford is notorious for bad sensors and high cost to repair them, not to mention diagnosing the correct sensor and locating of it, then you will need a special tool to replace it. I am a Computer Technician and a former Ford owner as well as an experienced auto mechanic. I can tell you mechanics and electronics don't mix well, especially after a few years of weatherization and jostling. What's the point if the car senses impending doom and full-frontal collision if it won't at least start applying the brakes for you to help reduce the 1/2 second response time or even stop you completely?
