This is the first time I have heard of this company but it honestly makes sense. Having a sockscription is like having a personal shopper for you that makes sure you always have clean new socks. I always buy socks in bulk and have had good luck with Uniqlo as I love the color variations they have but blacksocks.com has a great idea. The people at socks.com should try the same thing but not limit it to just black socks.

I started their subscription 1 year and 5 months ago.
This is pretty cool, their socks are definitely high quality. (still ripping sometimes ofc, but hey, I get new ones every 3 months;) )

Nice idea but the price i looked at was £45 for 9 pair of socks, which is ridiculous. I’ll continue to goto matalan and get 5 pairs for £3. They’re just socks, they dont have to cost a fortune.

The price is a little crazy though , $10 a pair for cotton crew socks, even for quality ones, is a bit nutty.
Went to their site and thought they would give 3 pairs for $10 .
But one pair of socks for $10!!
That is expensive.
But they still sold a million socks. That is the best part.

Live in Europe and never heard of them. However they do solve a problem I have – I have been mail ordering dozens of identical black socks for years so being able to do it via web makes it easier.
Now since they are based in Switzerland they could stuff those socks with cannabis sativa and presto! you have a very profitable venture.

$10 per pair in Switzerland is about as close to stealing as you can legally get. This is one of the top 5 most expensive countries in the world… and socks are no exception.
They may need to revise their pricing for the US market. I don’t think $10 – regardless of quality and convenience – will fly.
PS: on a sidenote, the swiss also have a similar service for earplugs. Yes, earplugs.
Which sounds funny… but as a motorcycle rider, I can safely say this is very cool service that am happy to have. The ‘plugs are great.

Are the newspaper people listening they are loosing newspaper and magazines subscriptions… ofcourse they will, they are in wrong business.
Subscription to vests and briefs and more to come… I have to cancel my Times subscription next year to make some room.

I am a customer for some time now. Socks are high quality and made in Italy and coupled with convenience worth the price. At Saks, I paid more for Saks’ own brand socks (made in Italy, too) and quality was definitely not better.
