No more scratched disks! This video and FAQ shows you how to enable a USB hard drive on your wee that can run ISO files straight off the disk, ensuring that your precious, mint copy of Twilight Princess will never be covered with Cheeto dust.

Note: this is a way to pirate WIi games.

  • Uhh… am I missing something here? You’re advertising ways to hack the Wii and not pay for your software?

    Fail.

  • so with this external I no longer need to buy a chip?

  • Oh man, that would make traveling with my Wii so easy, no more lugging game discs around…

  • jaybee you need someone to test this out. Let me check it out ill review it for yah.

  • I used a 250GB Segate Freeagent Go for my Wii months ago, using free software-only hacks I got off the internet. Hardly new news or something exclusive to these guys, they just made a nice external HDD case that looks similar to a Wii.

Yeah, the GUI is a bit flashier, but there are tons of skinned and alternate USB loaders out there, I prefer to use the original one by Waninkoko since the rest are essentially hackjobs of Waninkoko’s release.

  • Understand something people, a “pirate” profits from stolen goods. If you own the game and you back it up to run from ISO images, you are not a pirate. I suppose you think “hackers” are people who break into computer systems too? LOL

  • wonder what largest drive supported is?
