Fox Soccer Channel bought the rights to the Champions League starting with the 2009-2010 season. FSC is supposed to go HD before the end of the year. In other words, we’ll have HD Champions League soon enough.

This is so typical of ESPN, just like during the World Cup, the below average coverage with commentators that don’t know the sport or the details of the sports as they do in Europe. On top of all this the way the ads/promotions or stats bars are placed on the screen when players with the ball or something is happening. Please have FOX or another company that knows the sport better broadcast this. HD for the World Cup and not for this game, regression, is it the sport or the people behind the sport.
