It may not exceed the iPhone following as that is a tough nut to crack, but I could definitely see WebOS becoming a real contender in the smartphone market. It is a pretty solid combination of the key things people want in a phone including the fact that it is a bit of a status symbol. All that being said, that ringtone is terrible. I tend to agree, I really do think this phone will be a hit.
