It’s pretty crazy over there at All Things Digital, and in the hubbub it looks like the Zune HD has had its picture tooken and video shotten. This little video tour shows off the smoothness and speed of the UI, which looks like it has adapted extremely well to the touchscreen. I have my doubts about the screen resolution (480×272 is… well, passable), but the fact that it’s OLED makes for beautiful contrast, and I think that aspect is really emphasized by the stark Zune UI.
Accelerometer looks quick, all the functionality appears intact from previous Zunes, and the touchscreen itself appears very responsive. Of course, as soon as we get one of our own we’ll give you the full rundown. There’s more pictures over at Giz if you like that sort of thing.

“functionality appears intact from previous Zunes”?
I think the original Zune’s greats function, its brick like ability to be an excellent paperweight, will be considerably diminished.
That skinny little thing won’t be able to hold down a stack of papers in high winds at all.
Next time try to be less of a dick.
So what about the web browser? Thats what i’d like to see.
Awesome! I cant wait to sync it up to my macbook! Oh wait… shit.
Install Parallels on your Mac. Or dual boot.
They couldn’t manage to fit the entire word “marketplace” on the screen? That’s a fantastic sign, right there. Design genius.
yeah i cant believe that, especially when I’ll be using it mostly for reading.
I noticed that, not very smart
umm guys that is to make the firmware more unique. They did it on purpose, notice the same “problem” with the submenus(i.e Music).
yea but dose it have any like funn stuff like the ipod touch on other websits there comparing the 2 but by the looks of it all they have in comon is the screen ipod T(ouch) is more fun games and app and id think that this has anything like that i looks the same as other zunes so i dont think that the ipod T and this should really be compared
