It never really dawned on me that Microsoft had a stranglehold on production of wireless Xbox 360 controllers. It just wasn’t something that I thought about when plunking down in front of the TV to play some video games. In any case, Mad Catz has scored the exclusive global rights to produce “Xbox 360-branded wireless specialty videogame controllers.” That’s great and all, but we won’t be seeing any run-of-the-mill wireless controllers, which isn’t that big of a deal. Let’s just hope they’re cheaper than the Microsoft ones.

This seems to be a strategic move by Microsoft to popularize their Xbox since it has fallen out of favor from the public due to popularity of PlayStation and Nintendo. I really don’t think that these wireless controls would help Xbox to get more people glued!
The Xbox has fallen out of favor with the public?
Digital Ranker what in the flying hell are you smoking? Fallen out of favor with the public? Look at sales data figures for the year and comment again.
Yes I know I’m replying to a 3 month old comment but so what.
Anyway, I will be pissed if Mad Catz re-releases the FightPads for the 360 in a wireless configuration. I spent damn near $90 on two of these back in February thinking that wireless ones would never be available for the 360, ever. Dick move attempt at a double-dip if you ask me.
The Xbox 360 Wireless Controller feels perfect in your hands. Your hands fit perfectly on the outside, and your thumbs fit perfectly on the bottons, analog thumbsticks, and digital d-pad.
.
wtf?
