Here is something I’ve noticed raiden had a son any one look at his son eyes also he thought his father was cool so of he saw his father as a hero then wouldn’t he try to be one also that’s what I think so I don’t believe it’s a prequel and his son had a thing for swords if u didn’t see the toy one

Wow. Man, people REALLY need to start reading other comments. There are so many god damn repetitive comments on here. “OH MY GOD, NOW I NEED TO BUY A 360.” No you fucking don’t, dumb ass, it’s a fucking multiplatform game. And as for you PS3 fanboys, shut the fuck up. He didn’t betray us. He gave them a crappy prequal to a fucking awesome game. ._. Microsoft payed them money, they gave them crap. I mean think about it, it’s a whole new fucking engine. It’s practically not MGS, it’s something different made by Konami. And there’s also MGS games for the fucking Gameboy, dammit. ALL OF YOU get your facts straight. Lastly, I don’t care if it comes out for 360 as well as PS3, and even PC. ‘Cause MGS wasn’t a fucking exclusive to Sony anyway. MGS4 was. If THAT were to go to 360, THEN I would be one pissed PS3 owner. But otherwise, I really don’t care. And I already have Halo on 360, why would I want it on PS3, dammit!? Well.. that’s all, folks. =]

If you don’t understand why we are all pissed off, then you never will. The Metal Gear series isn’t just a game, it……. is not just an amazing story, but it is one of a kind. It is anti-absoulutistic, meaning their wasn’t a black and white good vs. evil, the story was so in depth, so…. real that in the end it was really left up to you who was the good guys and the bad guys and even then their isn’t an answer because everyone in the story, even the Patriot’s AI system, were working toward a common goal, making a better world for tomorrow, the only reason for the conflict was the different ways everyone had of achieving the same goal. This is just the a very simple taste of what the Metal Gear story has to offer and this whole thing was something that grew and developed on THE BEST platform series that was ever concieved, and the fact that Konami is now selling out to an inferior system, is just sickening for real fans.

For the record, Solid Snake can’t have a son, or any children for that matter, Naomi said so in MGS4. So if it really says that Solid Snake has a son in MGS acid 1 and 2, then they aren’t really part of the story.

Metal Gear Rising IS a prequel to MGS4. It takes place between MGS2 and MGS4 and is about that mysterious time in Raiden’s life.

id say it could be raiden after mgs 4 or it might be gray fox cos his left eye was ripped out and he has that exoskeleton so he can walk plus the guy on the cover has a missing left eye and a brown eye!!!

You know it might be the story behind what Raiden called drifting round the globe. For one that would make sense and it would be an intresting story. Am i the only one who thought of this.
