WWDC 2009 is next week but don’t let that stop you from opining on the majesty of the upcoming iPhone 3G II Jr. ++. We know for a fact that you’ll have background tasks running in 3.0 and we’ve confirmed the luminous Apple logo (!!) but did you know you’ll be able to record videos, use Nike+iPod services, and download movies? What a treat!

The big image shows just about everything the world currently knows about this thing so feast your eyes and prepare for the most important day of the year – iPhone day.

  • Yo I wanted to let you know of something a bit interesting. Recently took the wife to Frys to get a case for the iTouch and she got a case that said it was designed for the iTouch or iPhone. The case is a nice skin tight case and it has a hole up top where on the box it displays that hole is an opening for the camera. LOL, Fry’s leaked a case that probably wasnt supposed to be out till next month.

On a more personal note you guys have any suggestions on where I can send my ipods for repair. I have a 60GB photo and an 80 gb video that stopped working. Photo shows a sad ipod on the screen the video needs to have a chip resoldered.

  • Wow, everyone’s worked up that the iPhone might get features other phones have had for years, you guy’s crack me up.

  • Sorry Josh, the proximity sensor faces the user. Is it directly left of the the speakerhole for the ear.

    • d00d that explains a lot, or does it?

hhmmm lets wait till I get off of work and go re-read that package.

Good thought though good thought indeed.

  • omg omg omg omg omg i want it!!!

  • Oh and JayBee Thanks to the wifey claiming my 8GB iTouch I actually went to Costco today and bought myself a 16GB iTouch I really found myself addicted to playing with that thing so now I have one of my own.

  • When will the iPhone OS 3 software be available on iTunes?

  • Commenting on this after the release of the phone. Seems like you did a pretty decent job with your assumptions as the new iPhone does carry most of the features you described in your picture.
