That took long enough. We have known everything about Windows 7 for months now except for the release date.
Not anymore as Microsoft finally let it out that Windows 7 will be generally available on October 22, 2009. Now you just have to decide which of the seven six versions you’re going to spend your cash on. Or use the free RC for a while like us.
But there is only 6 versions of Win7 according to the Feb 3 article.
Bashing on Windows 7 already? Only 4 versions will be sold in North America. Only 2 will be on shelves, and you’ll have to pick between 3 if you’re going for a netbook.

Actually a large chunk of the internet is neither run through or on linux. Most of it is run on unix, which is not linux.
Linux still represents a significant portion of the server OS market share.
I couldn’t agree with you more ! GNU/Linux is superior in all facets of a complete operation system, without the DMR crap or as we say, Digital Handcuffs..
All 7 of my machines on this network run GNU/Linux, including Laptops and Web Book.
Windows 7 is a nice try for a cover up Microscrap made with Vista. It’s all Garbage.
Put away the Crayons and try a real OS.

You should care. Your running the largest Spyware program on the planet. You can’t add or take away from a program, even if it would fix a very legitimate problem.
