I agree, Jim. I'd perfer the browser support all the networks' website media players as I tend to go straight to them rather than Hulu.

Another deal breaker for me is the lack of a zoom picture that maintains aspect ratio. Only stretch is available and that won't due when I watch TCM and Fox movie channel pillared letterbox movies quite a bit. The cable box that I want to get rid of does it. Unfortunately my pricey Samsung HDTV disables that zoom option on digital video inputs. I'm sure many HDTVs must be like mine. I need that zoom available from the tuner box.

Nice poll. Way to slant it so the results back your statement up. Why not just put up a poll "Which do you want more? a) DEATH b) PRISON RAPING c) LOSE A LIMB d) HULU

Seriously. Compare Hulu to maybe NBC ABC CBS or WB's websites. Those have similar content. Do I want to stream some idiots with a camcorder to my DVR or professionally produced video. Maybe I'll give you VEOH but the rest. Crap. And I'm pretty sure he was thinking other things like Place shifting built in would be Tivo killers not a plain old streaming channel.

I'm guessing Gudorf has already approached Hulu and been denied. I can't imagine he would be that out of touch. I think he's just trying to save face.

That's funny. I found this page because I have a Google news alert set for "Hulu" and "Tivo". I'm looking for anything that will help me watch Hulu on my TV set.
