The question that has been on everyone’s minds regarding the PSP Go (”Um, what do I do with all my games that I bought) has been answered, though somewhat vaguely. John Koller, Sony’s Director of Hardware Marketing, said that there will be a system in place for people to get their UMD-based games onto their PSP Go. No, you won’t be ripping the UMDs directly; Koller suggested it would be similar to how you’d get Blu-ray movies onto your PSP.
In all likelihood it’ll be free, although it will probably also have the kind of crippling DRM you’d expect from a system like this. Hey, at least they’re making it possible.
I wonder, is 16GB going to be enough? I was speculating that while compressing game assets to make games more bite-sized isn’t a good idea, they will probably compress the hell out of in-game video and music.

Know i have a question, will psp go games work on the old psp´s?
It should if you have enough memory on your psp. Only if you DOWNLOADED THE GAME FROM A PS3.
you can use media go to put games on your psp too dude you dont need a ps3 to do that
in video psp go looks a bit small… will it support mem. stick? and will we able to download games simply from internet? or only from ps store?
the pro duo stix will be replaced by mini’s..those small mem cards you use for phones.
what games are their for the psp go
how big is the screen
3.8in.
Is the PSP Go, the new PSP2 everyone has been talking about, or thats it for sony’s portable consoles?
I think that’s the one they were talkin about..I heared the same thing but haven’t seen or read anything about a PSP2. And suddenly this one pops out
i think that sony is making a big mistake the psp go sounds nice but Every UMD has a capacity of like 2GB each. So eight games and your’e done for and then there is also music, videos , pictures and saved game data. The psp go will fill up too fast before one has a chance to really enjoy it and also you have no manual and most games don’t have tutorial and then there certain doubts that may not be answered by a tutorial i think that they could have come out with a better idea like maybe that blank umds and then passing your’e ps2 games onto the psp umds. i think that maybe they should have maybe waited till next and make sure that this is what the people want we don’t proffetionals choosing what is best let us choose for ourselfs. They want to sell some that is going to bring down the over-all quality of playstation and i know some of you agree with me.
the max capacity UMD’s can hold is around 2GBb (it’s less)ut so far no psp game has actually used it all so u canhold more than 8 games. and most games don’t even go over 1GB so i dont know where you got that info from
I am very curious about the new processor in the PSP Go, does anyone know if its faster than the existing PSP?
duz th psp go ava screen?
how do you download games an moves an music on the psp go an what do u need to use to download the stuff on the psp go
theres two ways one you can use the ps3 system or you can use media go which is a free program from sony
Do you need 2 buy anything special 2 download your UMD’s 2 your psp go hard drive ,and also how do you download your UMD’s 2 your hard drive.
Hi was just wondering if psp go will have larger internal memory capacity than just 16 gigs more like 30 gigs or something like that. i was wondering also how much the psp games will cost.
Thanks
The PSP Go system will support the use of Micro SD Mini (Ones that fit into some digital cameras and phones) which can currently hold around 2-8 gigs each. You can purchase these to increase your capacity. Carrying around a couple of those is a lot better than having a bulky case for your old UMD, dontcha agree? ^^
your really off base there, its Memory Stick Micro or M2 and the biggest it can hold so far is 16 gigs and that one was made by sony
lachlan its 16 gigs right now but the max is 30 gigs and the games the highest priced game i saw was $39.99 on the psp go
do the games cost when your donloaded them
sounds cool n all, but I got like 20 games and a shit load of music n videos. I’ll stick with my old one.
yea then stick with the psp 3000 or w/e one you got the psp go was meant for new comers to the psp
