Hell yes I would buy one! As long as its under $500 anyways.

Maybe a crunchpad future add-on? I’d gladly pay $300 for the tablet and then another $200 for the base. Go for it! :)

Not exactly. The device from Always Innovating has only an ARM processor. The prototype device from VIA has an ARM processor in the tablet part and an Intel Atom processor in the main computer. So it’s really two machines in one, whereas the Always Innovating device is one machine that transforms into various configurations.

Hey waitaminnit! Isn’t this exactly like Always Innovating’s TouchBook? It is slated to ship very soon – early summer ‘09. It too has a detachable tablet/display.
