picture-6Don’t act surprised or anything, but Apple just threw the gauntlet down on everyone. The 3G will sell alongside the 3G S in three capacities: 8GB (3G), 16GB (3G S) and 32GB (3G S) for $99, $199 and $299, respectively. You can run down to your local AT&T store now or wait until June 19th when the iPhone 3G S drops.

  • If this were a basket ball game I believe this would be the point where Apple utters,

“In yo face fool! How ya like me now!”

  • That makes little to no sense whatsoever. Nothing “In yo face” about the 3gs. Apple is a joke.

lol jealous much. the iphone 3G was in many ways superior to the palm pre. It now sells for $99 and upgradable to iphone 3.0, while the iPhone 3GS is vastly superior and has the same price points as the pre.

      • Ok apply fan boi. I have a 3g so no I’m not jealous much. From the absolute HORRIBLE camera, to slow internet to spotty ATT 3g to random hang ups and reboots of the phone and 5 software upgrades to fix bugs, AM I JEALOUS! Lmao. What are you 14?

A company as large as apple needs to own up to some mistakes an their jokes for 2k laptops.

Sorry to hurt any of you fan boi’s feelings but seriously get over your apple fetish and join the real world where paying 699 for an upgrade for current customers is a JOKE!

  • Did they mention if iPhone 3G owners will get the subsidy like last time? I tried to preorder on the site and it said I’d get a lower price, but then it showed $499 for a 32GB.

  • Awesome!

Too bad ATT still sucks and their plans still cost too much.

Give me a texting only plan like what Verizon offers dammit. $35 total for unlimited EVERYTHING, except calling, which is $0.40/minute. Hell, even at $5/minute, I’d still get that plan if they would only offer it.

I’m not paying more than $60 a month though, and currently, the cheapest plan for me would be $90+. Yea… how ’bout Fuck No. Triple the price for using the same damn thing, except on an iPhone. Pff.

  • I think this is huge. Here’s why, http://bit.ly/dSlG2.

  • I don’t consider it’s worth buying the new iPhone 3G S, unless your carrier offers you a cheap upgrade option. The OS 3.0 will bring a lot of 3G S’ features, excepting the 7.2MBps HSPA, 3 MP camera, better processor, and a few more. If you don’t really need those features, go for the OS 3.0 and keep your current iPhone 3G.

However, fans of the iPhone are cheered when Apple’s iPhone 3G S made its debut. Also, most users would like to put DVDs movie video on iPhone 3G S. I’ve found a good tutorial about import DVD / video to iphone 3GS/ iPhone 3G:
