This Linux Asus Eee model comes loaded with an Atom CPU, a 4G SSD hard drive, and 1GB of RAM. Just like other netbooks, don’t expect to play TF2 or really anything besides online card games, but this Eee netbook would make a great travel companion for some.

You sure you aren’t thinking of it being in the $2–.– range and not the $1–.– range? I don’t think I have ever seen a netbook go for this little REGULARLY. The only time I have seen them this low is on Woot! The cheapest regularly sold at netbook is the one I posted above, and its not even as good as the Woot! one.
