Also, re: Snow Leopard...folks who buy a computer now will only have to pay 10 bucks for the service upgrade! Actually, I'm looking forward to it, coz to my experience Leopard has been one of the buggiest upgrades since Mac went from 9 to X -- hopefully the Snow addition will solve some of those problems.

And it's great to see mac going vocal about iPhone's encryption -- the more viable a business pda they make it the better. Some folks not only demand secure wifi but browsing as well, with extended validation ssl or the like (I think the iPhone was the first pda to offer the green url bar, which says a lot).

I don't think the 3G S is the biggest announcement from WWDC, though. Here's why, http://bit.ly/dSlG2.

That 6 gigs better be a frak'in SSD for 30 bucks. I grabbed a 320 gb for $54 and I didn't have to wait a year for it.

I have to imagine that MA is fairly excited at the lack of a competitor to the CrunchPad. Assuming this get's off the ground in July/August I would imagine that there will be quite a nice bit of time between CPad launch and a legitimate alternative.

If it wasn't for the 64-bit upgrade I would feel like Snow Leopard is more of a "service pack" than any OS upgrade that Apple has ever done. I think that to the average user they will install it and then wonder what happened to their 30 bucks.

Going truly 64-bit is a big deal, I just feel like it shouldn't cost me a dime. But that’s just me I guess.
