I'm using it and I'm enjoying it. It's cool, the interface is a little different. It's fast, stable enough to use as main operating system, but the programs freeze all the time.

i'm using it atm, and it doesn't feel that different, because as it was said here earlier all the fancy visual things are missing in this build. and i thought if they rewrite the finder, they could also get rid of this mobileme sync annoyance.. but i'm optimistic that not all improvements are implented yet.

but e.g. safari is really flying (i opened gmail in 0.1 sec within the browser) and yes, the finder is in general much smoother and snappier than before..

but i'd recommend to wait till september though

Yes that public site happen to Start with "The" and end with "Bay".

I'll be making the jump from Leopard today, have my backups and install hd ready, can't wait (even if there's no Dock Expose or Quick Time X in this one)

It's also on TPB now folks.

Will download and give it a shot, pondering whether to replace my Leopard install with this one (seeing it's the final beta that'll be issued to devs)

[...] Apparently, the pirates (no, not the ones in Somalia, the ones that are taking over Sweden) are at it again. OS X 10.6, also known as Snow Leopard, was seeded to developers yesterday, and according to CrunchGear, it is already circulating BitTorrent. We don’t advocate piracy, so we haven’t downloaded it and installed it, but some of the images that have leaked feature a new desktop wallpaper, among other things. The download is also approximately 5.8GB in size, which is noticeably smaller than Leopard. [...]

The external drive method is particularly useful. You don't have to worry about losing discs, and the installation runs more quickly over USB.

Best idea: back up the OS X Restore discs that came with your computer onto partitions of an external drive. You'll thank yourself when your system won't boot, you can't find your discs, and you have a 6PM deadline.
