These deals are in-store only, people! If I were you I’d run over there and see if you can still snag a 15.4″ MacBook Pro with 2.4GHz and 2GB of RAM (get your own) for $1600. That’s a steal.

You could get a windows laptop with 2.4ghz and 2gb ram off ebay for probably 100 bucks

if all its doing is getting you from point a to b then your statement holds some truth.
And you’d still be stuck with Windows. Certainly the operating system is worth something more than XP/Vista, otherwise Microsoft wouldn’t be trying to copy it for the last 15+ years. And then you need account for the distinct lack of plastic on the Apple machine.
Guy’s relax Devin doesnt know any better. Apple fanboys are blinded by the truth. Trustfund baby’s arent going to change because the proof is in the pudding. It’s ok once windows 7 gets released and is bundled with all sorts of laptops these macbook steals as Devin so eloquently puts it are going to be no more because unless you have used windows 7 you are truly getting the real windows experience. XP is half way there 7 is the whole enchilada.
