The thing that is good about this keyboard is that there is an SDK, so people who want to create monitoring apps for games, etc. can do so. You just need some people with some minor programming skills and you’re set. I’m sure there’s a couple of communities out there that will have some apps already released for you to download.

did you try the myriad of G15 3rd party apps and see if the kb was backwards compatible…i bet anything it is…

you cant review this out of the box…it just doesn’t work…same with iphone…its not what it is out of the box, its the potential the item has when an intelligent programmer works on it.

this is the selling point for the kb…i have litterally hundreds of apps for my g15 and they all make it worth the cost, i see this being no different

Really strange that the monitor doesn’t have any in-game apps since my G13’s screen shows me all sorts of info when I’m playing. But it only works when I have the profiler up.

Did you have the key profiler running?

I very much doubt that a computer that fits inside a keyboard is going to be worth spending money on, that is unless you’re rich and want to say “look at my keyboard with a computer in it”

Love the keyboard, I’m an logitech whore but still, gorgeous baby, I’m having to stick with my G15 for now though till I can afford an upgrade (which I WILL get)

Hey, ASUS build one with a computer inside the electronics and a funky trackpad looking a little like an Optimus. No LCD on it but plug in an LCD panel and power. Its ready to use.

The big problem I had with this keyboard is that it wouldn’t work through my KVM.. Not just the advanced LCD features.. i’d almost expect that, but even as a basic keyboard.
