Don d00d this dilemma has a rather cinchy solution. Dont buy it till you know you can comfortably afford it. PS3 leads to a lot more spending at the PSN store.

I wish I had the 60GB iwould pay the $599 for that. I moving on my out on my own in like 2 weeks. Im not gonna have a ps3 because I was using my roomates but im gonna buy one really soon but now im afraid I can wait and save a hundred. What to do?

It will need to drop further before sales rise. Charging that much for a console in these tough times is not smart.
