101156_60_3A lightbox is a mighty handy tool. It allows amateurs to take studio-quality pics of little gadgets and whatnots. Normally these kits are kind of pricey, but not today! (really, the deal ends today)

Today’s bargin at 1SaleaDay is one of these kits for only $9.99. That’s a mighty fine deal. Hell, the lights generally cost more than that. The shipping is $6, so you’ll end up spending $16 in the end. But if you’re trying to sell your Grandma’s crap on Ebay to pay rent this month, it might be worth the added cost to ensure those nick-knacks look their best.

  • Not bad. I’d pick one up but I have a lightbox that I built for work a few months ago. There are lots of DIY’s online if you don’t mind spending an hour or so to put one together. You can probably build a much nicer one for $15 in parts, but you’ll have to get lights separately. The lights that come with this kit probably aren’t good anyhow.

  • This would be good for little, little, little items. Like cells phones or something. 8×8x8 inches isn’t much, but the fact that it’s portable is pretty cool too

  • I bought one, but I doubt I’ll trust my DSLR on that dinky little tripod.

  • I was going to order one, but they say that they don’t ship to P. O. boxes, and my Visa card address is a P. O. box. They also don’t allow you to have a shipping address that is different from your billing address, so there is no way that I can even place an order. :-(
