No, i don’t think you receive the token as soon as you preorder it and no, you don’t have to get the $100 one to get both. This being said, i’m not quite sure, but i did preorder the game and i didn’t get the token when i did. I assume i’ll receive it and the invitation at the time of release. Still not sure though.
No, you get the token almost right before the game release, something like a week or a few days,it’s an email token so be watching your email. And no, you don’t need to pay 100$s to get the beta invite, the beta invite comes if you get the game. The 100$s just gets you an exclusive controller because most controllers cost around 40 dollars.

i pre-orderes the 100$ version they told me ill get the code in a e-mail and the controller is kinda lame looking its green with halo3odst near the right corner of it,but since i have both halo3 controllers i guess ill use this one to now i have 3 hopfully halo:reach will have a cool design on the controller.

The people at EB Games are a bunch of fucktards I pre-ordered my Halo ODST in hopes of getting Johnson and what do I get? Nothing (well ODST)! The best part is those assholes not telling me (in hopes I wouldn’t even bother or forget) so I went home feeling like an idiot. I phone them up asking them about this and they say “i dunno” I get the manager he says “They’re out…” OUT? WTF is the point or PRE-ORDERING? — IT’S SO YOU MORONS CAN ACCOUNT FOR EVERY PRE-ORDER AND GET THE EXACT AMMOUNT OF HALO ODST AND JOHNSON CODES DURRRRRR. ya i think its stupid i didnt get my johnson code and i was hopin so much i pre orderd from amazon and amazon screwed up and sent me 2 games instead of 1 so i have 2 odst games but no johnson.
well at least you have an extra halo 3 odst game, when you have one of the disc broken or scratched too much, you have another one instead of going through the time to buy another one and waste the money when you could have bought something better. lol
