I have no idea who would be cold-blooded (or in fact rational) enough to buy this, but it exists: A cabinet that doubles as a coffin [JP] when the owner or anybody else needs one. Why not?

Sold by a Japanese company called Hitugiya, the so-called Super Dream Cabinet (this is really the name) is available with a number of pretty patterns buyers can choose from (see below for two examples). In addition, Hitugiya seriously praises the cabinet’s resistance against earthquakes. The cabinet is made of pine and sized at 1850×560×440cm.

The Super Dream Cabinet costs $5,500 and is only available in Japan.
