Paul Simon? Ginger Sling recorded a better version of the song about five years ago. I wonder if Ginger ever used Kodachrome.

Really sad kodak chrome is being stopped by kodak, than do they launch new series of camera film roles?

This is a sad day. When I was in graduate school, I had to create slides for scientific presentations at big conferences. We would hand-stencil pages, photograph them and over and underexpose Kodachrome and Ektachrome to get cool color effects (the black lettering would appear white on a blue or slightly reddish background).

Working with film and developing taught a lot of people about photography. Now people take crap pictures with their cell phones. Getting a degree in Photography at the Newhouse School at Syracuse University must be different today.

Kodachrome when stored properly has a life of 80-100 years. I can’t say that I’ve got a way of archiving my digital photos for 100 years. Think of the file and graphic formats one would have to migrate over this period. Not to mention I would be dead before then…..
