I have just finished the update and have not seen any diffrences. Can smoeone please tell me also if the game Rayman 2 will be released on the Australia PSN?
new update has done absolutely nothing, if any1 plays call of duty world at war add me, Username: dudetuff

it probably added more security update for the firmware so nobody mods it but i cant think to what you could mod it for
the 2.80 update was not mandatory….i doubt it really does anything….because if it was important you would have been forced to DL it. it does take a while to update…i’m guessing it has some worth while data in it. as far as im concerned, i hope my ps3 isn’t one of those that gets negatively affected by random updates. i have the 80GB launch system….apparently its the one that sony worked the hardest on, and also lost the most money from producing.
either way an update is an update…might as well download it and forget about it.
