These 7-inch MiMo USB monitors aren’t NEW new but they are now being sold at ThinkGeek, which is new. Just a shade under $130 gets you a USB-powered 7-inch monitor with an 800×480 resolution.
The screen can be oriented up-wise or wide-wise and there’s no power cord to forget, chew through, or sever with a Ginsu. Brightness is 350cd/m2, contrast ratio is 400:1. Might make a nice side monitor for all that twatting or twooting or twitterling you kids are into these days.

Me like, definitely want one with higher resolution though.
Higher resolution!? It’s only 7 inches!
I want one of these but I have no idea why or what for
They also make touch screen versions for around $199.
Great little monitors for pc mods!
Sounds like a great way to get a very portable dual-screen (or more) solution for a netbook warrior. :)
I wonder if they’ll work with a Nokia N800 tablet using a powered hub?
I guess they could!

If they can release the LGPL driver for Linux, it’s very possible to be able to use it on a Linux netbook or even on a Nokia tablet. Nice!
Definitely for those people that have money to throw around.
If it worked on PS3 it’d be nice for LANing. Though I already have a 20″ LG for that, so kind of unnecessary. Also, I could probably buy another 20″LG for that money now.
