magnoliaHaving trouble finding Onkyo products after all the Circuit City stores closed up? Yeah, sometimes we forget that when major retailers go down, some vendors suffer a lot too including Onkyo. Well, soon an underpaid Best Buy Magnolia Home Theater worker will be happy to demo and sell you products from the brand.

Keith Hass, Director of Sales for Onkyo,

“We have worked diligently to position the brand where the product’s performance, capabilities, feature set and uncompromising build quality can be effectively and professionally demonstrated.

“The establishment of the relationship and placement of the product with Magnolia Home Theater is the culmination of these efforts.”

Expect to see Onkyo products, and hopefully some Integra items as well, later this year.

  • I need to stop speed-reading headlines. This was incredibly interesting until i realized that best buy doesnt have a “Mongolia” home theater. Damn.

  • So, instead of selling you the proper power amp & a receiver for those awesome Martin Logan speakers, the uneducated Best Buy guy will tell you to use a 7.1 Onkyo?? …HA! I bet ya he’ll tell you the best way to listen to music is Mp3 through S/PDIF too… Digital is better than analog… *Smirk*

    • Yea hes right, us best buy employees don’t know nothin bout that dang audio stuff, its all complicated with all them buttons and thingies in the back…………i believe a insignia 5.1 receiver would work best for those speakers!!!!!!! I hope you can detect the sarcasm jackass!!!!
