What you have just seen is not that surprising, infact it was eventually bound to happen. After spending three years in Kyoto Japan and other areasof those far off magical islands, I witnessed briefly the beauty, mystery, and charm that these artful hostesses posess. It was only a matter of time before they too were thrown to the wolves of media hype, bad movies, and ‘B’ rated cinema. Even within our own culture we have witnessed what we thought was beyond reproach being dragged down into the depths of the common, trashy, and stereotypical. It is a hard and often depressing lesson to learn in life…”there is nothing holy” (nothing that humans have created that does not become grist for the mill of mediocrity and bad taste). But at least we can laugh at it.
Be sure to catch the upcoming sequal: “robo-hello-kitty”….coming to a theatre near you…now, run for your lives!!!! It IS ROBO-GEISHA!!!—AAHHH!!!
