This trimmer is terrible. The trimmer grabs and pulls out hair painfully whenever using any of the attachments. A trimmer has 1 job, and this one fails.

A drop in stand would be perfect. Also in the kit rather than an accesory stand, a zip up bag with interior pockets marked for the accesories. I'm with the blogger. I would mostly use the trimmer on my Goatee and rarely the other items.

I think a zippered case would have more value than a stand that doesn't charge in a simple fashion, good for travel too! I might grab one of these for a "trimmer" now, thanks for the reply Wahl!

I'm too lazy to shave every day so I trim scruff a few times a week. I got tired of wiping up hairs or making sure a trash can was under my beardo, so I bought a Norelco trimmer with a vacuum in it. It actually does a pretty good job of sucking the hairs into a chamber as you trim. Just an FYI.

nice to see the company respond on a blog. i'm on the lookout for an electric trimmer so this sounds like a good buy. i hate how people are coming out with unusable docks for everything now. it works with an ipod and digital cameras. other than that, they usually suck. 40 dollars you say.. where are my pants?!?

Thanks for purchasing the Wahl Lithium Ion Grooming Kit and for the review. Hope you enjoy the product. Just to clarify on the shaver - our claims are as compared to our other electric shavers. Wet blades have direct contact with the skin which is great for a close shave, but also the problems of nicks and cuts. Electric shavers have the blades behind a foil or screen so one can only shave as close as the thickness of the foil. As for the stand, we would love some feedback on whether you might prefer a zippered storage case that easily holds everything or an even larger stand as that will help us in our next generation of product. At Wahl we stand behind our product, so if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact our Customer Service Department at our web site.
