Alert the media! LucasArts’ official Twitter feed has been tweeting non-stop about… something! It looks like the company is poised to announce a new game based on an old game/franchise tomorrow, July 6.
Can we guess? Is it Sam and Max, or maybe Monkey Island? LucasArts surely can’t go to the Star Wars well again, can it? Enough about the Star Wars!
It’s sort of exciting, yes. Not as exciting as waiting for part two of Marca’s interview with Cristiano Ronaldo to show up on Usenet, but exciting nonetheless.

Yes, Telltale will release a new Monkey Island in 2 days. But it will be release as episodes, like they did with SAm & Max.
It’s also possible, that they officially relase those games for the iPhone.
Not going to lie, if they port the original Monkey Island games or Scumm based games to the iPhone I would be super thrilled.
I would be super into any iPhone ports but yes…if I see another Star Wars game I am going to be fucking pissed.
Could it be a sequel to one of my favorites: Day of the Tentacle?
I doubt it is will be about Monkey Island, unless they are promoting Telltale’s release. I pre-ordered Monkey Island and am anxiously awaiting it.
