John, Thanks for the review.

Joe, the T-6 does NOT scratch the way a "T-something" does. It has a crystal, not plastic face.

Luke, I don't know which Suunto you have but I've had a T-6 for years and the build quality is excellent and menus are very easy to navigate. The only problem I've had is having to replace the band. The new style band seems like it lasts longer.

I do wish the Suunto software was as good as the T-6 watch. The 3rd party software "Firstbeat Athlete" makes much better use of the watch's data, but costs $80.

The reason I'm considering updating from the T6 to the T6c is that the T6c has "Training Level" showing as you work out instead having to wait until you upload to the computer to find out your training level for the day.

I had a Suunto T-something - it was a piece... I scratched the plastic face within hours of owning it, and navigating the functions was not in any way intuitive.

I have a Suunto. I love the design and wear it almost every day. However, the quality leaves much to be desired for the price I paid. Even though it's a $300 digital watch it has given me all kinds of problems. I've returned it multiple times to get new ones, but have just given up. Like I said, I love the look of it and get complements all the time, but I'll never buy another. I'll be getting a Casio Gshock soon as a replacement.
