Agreed. I saw this and chuckled at the ridiculous over-the-top cheesiness, and have been surprised at the apopleptic rage I’ve seen online over this…if this had been an unauthorized parody (as opposed to a sanctioned one), would ppl have had the same knee-jerk, bile-filled response?
