How about they create a device where you can set your cone inside the device and let it spin for "maximum lickage" no reason to put ice-cream into something that spins and then realize once the top is gone that damn, i got to either 1. get a spoon or 2. tip it upside down as Aaron stated to risk not only getting it on your hands but your favorite shirt/pants, and even shoes! Sure only if you are that messy when eating ice cream - Plus, wouldn't the motor that spins your ice-cream create a little heat? Can you say ice cream soup? thats IMO.

Edible cones are half the fun of getting ice cream. This is one gadget that I'll definitely do without.

I'm trying to think of a benefit to this device, and I can find none.

Once you eat the topmost layer of icecream, how do you get at the rest? Do you tip the device upside down, running the risk of dropping your cone, or at least getting icecream all over your hand?

This just seems like a terrible, terrible idea.

It'd be like getting a gigantic tupperware container to put your car in. Sure, it'd keep the bird poop off the roof, but how are you gonna get the car out?
