inkjet symphony
Here’s a fun video made by Kingston University design graduates Tom Wrigglesworth and Matt Robinson. They used 8 HP inkjet printers to make a clever time-lapse video. No word on how much it cost in ink to produce this.

  • I usually like things like this, but all I can think of it is: what a waste of paper and ink.

    • How wasteful! …And yet people don’t seem as bothered by NASCAR, drag racing, drifting or all those contests where they burn-out their tires. Comparatively, it’s not as big a waste if the point is to make a video that can be watched over and over unlike a lot of these other wastes that are repeatedly performed for a live large crowd or a few people, often many times every year.

      • You do realize that all of those “wasteful” races are taped. And watched over and over and over by fans. Guarantee more people watch a NASCAR race (NASCAR isn’t my thing, im an F1 guy, but NASCAR is undeniably popular here in the US) every week than will see this video. And there are some races that will just live on forever. This video will not.
