ld_sr_01_080421_ssvHurry, open a new tab and direct your web browser to WeChooseTheMoon.org to experience the Apollo 11 mission as if it was happening live. Right now, the site is counting down to lift-off which will happen at 9:30am EST. If you can’t have the flash-heavy site open, at least listen to the Mission Control audio that’s being streamed by Shoutcast. Or you can follow everything on Twitter. Or use the desktop app. Your choice, but at least spend a bit of your day to relive this historic event.
