We’re fairly certain that Apple is adding cameras to their iPod line but could they also be adding video and audio recording capabilities including, heaven forefend, VoIP?
Wired has some info that the new iPods will have built-in video and audio recording and should support Skype chat.
“Wired commenters” have also said that you can add the Touch to a Verizon MiFi hotspot and create a Verizon network which is just crazy talk.
I’m assuming that they are only adding this stuff to the touch line. Everything else would be too small i would imagine to fit a camera, mic and wifi card in. Also, how would the differ the touch from the iphone? At that point I would just release one line and make activating the iphone portion a separate deal.

yea sounds cool and all but i wouldn’t hold my breath…. I’m still waiting on that apple tablet, and its only been how long since the rumors about that pop up?…. feels like years….
