OK. I’m happy to report that Round 2 of the Gadget Club Contest passed by without a hitch and now we’re on to Round 3. Before I show you the new entrants, however, let’s announce the Round 2 winner, shall we?
Based on my queries, here is the breakdown:
Beer Pong 2
WIIPOD 37
NBPlex 5
Crazy Camera 2
GeckoCords 22

So, as we see, the WiiPod won. I still don’t know what the heck it does but look at that box art, people. Classic! Congratulations, Paul F!
Thanks to Peek and RadioShack AKA DA SHACK for sponsoring this great contest. Look for the next vote-off tonight.

Thank goodness some folks got it. I definitely could have done a better job explaining.
This was a kit that I built to implement Johnny Lee’s excelent whiteboard software. Basically it uses the Wiimote to turn any surface into a touchscreen/whiteboard. He does a far better job of demonstrating than I ever could in one of his classic YouTube videos.
The kit includes an IR pen and a Tripod for your Wiimote

I know that spent a lot of time and solder building parts to implement his great ideas, and thats what RadioShack used to be all about.
The goal of the club is to make discover astronomy (observation and theory) with the members, using instruments, books, charts, vidéos, software and of the experiment of certain club, this in the most convivial possible environment!

Thanks for the run John!
