And the award for the most long winded piece of dribble goes to AppleInsider! Thanks for the informative article on purported new features for Apple’s upcoming iMac refresh in which Kasper Jade says absolutely nothing about those new features. Why not just say, “Apple will unleash a “bag of hurt” on the upcoming iMac refresh,” rather than knocking out 577 words about nothing?

  • Apple is all about marketing, air and wind…they even have a laptop named Air.

  • I still doubt Apple will include a blu-ray player on the new iMacs. i still have a feeling Jobs is opposed to this. Remember, he’s the guy who wants to get rid of disk drives, (had a computer without one). If it was upto him, he’d introduce HD screen with HD content and call it a day. http://ziggytek.com/

  • Dustin,The above is a 20 in iMac and the keyboard is the short bluetooth keyboard, and the screen ratio is 16:9, it is also a march 2009 iMac since it has the thin foot. The video chip set is INVIDIA 9400M and it’s not HD because the LCD display that it uses doesn’t support HD, I own one and I also worked in eng. at Apple before I retired. As far as what you believe nobody cares because you don’t really know what your talking about, please do a little research before posting and stop making things up in your mind.

    • Thomcarl, you don’t know what you are talking about either, but I guess you left apple before they started integrating their chipsets with NVidia (not INVIDIA). I know that the 9400m provides HD processing capabilities as well as Blu-ray decoding, and while the main display may not be 2560×1600 or 1920×1080, its external display port supports a 30in @ 2560×1600 which I believe is a little bit higher than 1080p. So maybe you should hang out at the genius bar while you are enjoying your retirement.
